SELECTIVE LASER SINTERING (SLS)

Selective laser sintering is an additive manufacturing process in which prototypes are built by fusing plastic based powder together, using a high powered precision laser. Prototypes manufactured using this 3D printing technology are considered to be more durable than SLA, because of their superior part properties. The parts also do not degrade over time. 3DPD’s SLS service delivers tough, durable parts in as little as 2-3 days. With two different materials to choose from, SLS is particularly suited for functional testing coupled with durability and excellent strength. Our materials are ROHS compliant and are perfectly suited for medical applications wherein the volume is low and complexity in parts are high.
