Metalworking
Metal Casting
Four distinct metal casting methods supported by an in-house machine shop with Makino and HAAS VMCs. 50+ years of combined team experience across investment, sand, vacuum, and gravity die casting.
Methods
Four Casting Options
Vacuum Metal Casting
High metallurgical quality casting in a vacuum environment, eliminating porosity and oxide inclusions. Ideal for low-volume, high-quality metal parts where material integrity is critical — aerospace, medical, and precision engineering applications.
- High metallurgical quality
- Low porosity, no oxide inclusions
- Ideal for low-volume production
- Aerospace & medical grade
Investment Casting
Using Schultheiss Rapid Metal machines for short-run production casting. Wax patterns (often 3D printed) are coated in ceramic, burnt out, and filled with molten metal. Produces parts with close dimensional tolerances and excellent surface finish — suitable for complex geometries impossible with other casting methods.
- Schultheiss Rapid Metal machines
- Short-run production
- Close dimensional tolerances
- Complex geometries possible
- 3D printed wax patterns
Sand Casting (No-Bake)
No-Bake sand casting technology for quick and economical metal parts. Chemical-bonded sand molds offer better dimensional accuracy than traditional green sand casting, with faster turnaround and lower tooling cost. Ideal for large parts and low-volume runs.
- No-Bake technology
- Quick and economical
- Better accuracy than green sand
- Large part capability
- Low tooling cost
Gravity Die Casting
Permanent metal molds for higher-volume aluminium casting. Gravity-fed molten metal produces consistent, high-quality parts with good surface finish. Added in 2024 as part of our capacity expansion. Suitable for automotive, electrical, and consumer applications.
- Permanent metal molds
- Higher volume capability
- Aluminium specialization
- Consistent quality
- Added 2024

Support Equipment
Our metal casting division is backed by a full suite of support equipment — from melting and mixing to cleaning and finishing. The in-house machine shop with Makino and HAAS VMCs provides 5-micron post-machining accuracy, ensuring cast parts meet the tightest dimensional requirements.
This integrated approach — casting and machining under one roof — eliminates inter-vendor coordination, reduces lead times, and gives you a single point of accountability for the finished part.
