Process

How Vacuum Casting Works

01

Master Pattern

A high-quality master is created via SLA 3D printing or CNC machining, capturing every detail of the final part.

02

Silicone Mold

Liquid silicone rubber is poured around the master, cured, and split open. The resulting mold captures surface texture down to micro-level detail.

03

Vacuum Casting

Thermoset polyurethane resin is mixed, degassed, and poured into the silicone mold under vacuum — eliminating air bubbles for flawless parts.

04

Demolding & Finishing

Parts are carefully removed, trimmed, and finished. Painting, texturing, and assembly available as needed.

Materials

10+ Urethane Resins

Thermoset polyurethane resins that simulate the properties of production thermoplastics — from rigid ABS to flexible rubber.

ABS-like

Tough, impact resistant, good for functional parts

PP-like (Polypropylene)

Flexible, chemical resistant, living hinges

PC-like (Polycarbonate)

Transparent, high impact, heat resistant

Acrylic (PMMA-like)

Clear, optical quality, display parts

Rubber (Shore 45A-85A)

Flexible, soft-touch, seals and gaskets

High Temperature

Withstands elevated temperatures for under-hood and industrial

Nylon-like

Strong, wear resistant, moving parts

Nylon Glass-Filled

Enhanced stiffness and thermal stability

FR-grade (Flame Retardant)

UL94 V-0 rated, electrical enclosures

Food-grade

FDA compliant for food contact applications

Advantages

Why Vacuum Casting

Production Quality

Parts rival injection molded quality in appearance, feel, and function — without the tooling investment.

Fraction of Cost

Silicone molds cost a fraction of steel or aluminium injection molds, making it ideal for 1-50 unit runs.

Rigid & Flexible Parts

From rigid ABS housings to Shore 45A rubber gaskets — both in the same mold if needed (overmolding).

Small to Large Format

From tiny switchgear components to full-size automobile bumpers. No size limitation holds us back.

Fine Surface Detail

Silicone captures every detail of the master — textures, lettering, logos, and micro features.

18+ Years Experience

One of India's most experienced vacuum casting operations, serving automotive, medical, and consumer brands.
